Overview
The additions to the Barbour Wildlife Management Area in Barbour and Bullock counties offer both pine and hardwood forest habitats. The three acquisitions totaling 7,070 acres serve as public land additions to one of the largest and oldest state-owned public hunting areas in Alabama, and provide exciting new opportunities for Alabama hunters.

Hunting
Hunters must possess a valid hunting license, a WMA license and a free map/permit. Permits and other WMA information may be downloaded from theĀ Wildlife Management Areas webpage.

Directions
From Eufaula, take US-82 West 16.8 miles to Co. Rd. 49. Turn left on to Barbour Co. Rd. 49 and travel approximately 5.2 miles to Mt. Silla Church Rd. Turn right on Mt. Silla Church Rd and travel approximately 0.7 miles to Christa Dr. Turn right on to Christa Dr. and travel approximately 0.1 miles to the check-in station.
