Goals for Future Land Acquisitions & Activities

For more than two decades, the Forever Wild Land Trust has worked to preserve Alabama’s natural heritage and expand the acres of public lands, so that present and future generations can enjoy quality-of-life opportunities in the outdoors. And so that you can enjoy them – because these lands are your public lands to enjoy. We want your feedback for future Forever Wild land acquisitions as well as new potential outdoor activities on currently-held Forever Wild lands.

On behalf of the Forever Wild Land Trust Board of Trustees, the Alabama State Lands Division will host three public listening sessions in 2014 to assist in the development of a long-range plan for the Forever Wild Land Trust program. All of the listening sessions will begin at 6 p.m. with a brief presentation about the program. To ensure Forever Wild meets our goals for the future, we welcome and encourage ideas and feedback from the public at these meetings.
