Overview

The Dallas County WMA consist of three separate purchases totaling 1,500 acres located along the Alabama River South of Selma. These Forever Wild properties serve as additions to the Cedar Creek Special Opportunity Area. Special Opportunity Areas provide hunters with a higher quality hunt by reducing hunting pressure through a limited quota system.

 Recreational Opportunities

The Dallas County WMA is open to public hunting through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Special Opportunity Program.
