Overview
The Little River State Forest is comprised of 712 acres of mixed hardwood and pine stands in Escambia County. This property serves as an addition to the Little River State Forest and was acquired in coordination with the Alabama Forestry Commission utilizing Forest Legacy grant funding.
Recreational Opportunities
The Little River State Forest Addition serves as a Special Opportunity Area and is open to public hunting through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Special Opportunity Program. Directions
From I-65 Exit 57 head North on AL-21 for 7.9 miles and turn left onto McCullough Road. In 1.4 miles turn right onto Bryant Lane and in approximately 1 mile the property will be on the right.
From Monroeville head South on AL-21 for 26.8 miles to McCullough Road and turn right onto Bryant Lane. In approximately 1 mile the property will be on the right.
